We are dedicated to creating new green materials starting with iron, water, and carbon dioxide
and capturing this greenhouse gas in useful products and structures for the building industry.
We are now focused on affordable housing that is healthier for both the residents and the environment.
Carbon-Bound is a team of research scientists and environmental technologists dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for the construction and manufacturing industries. We are committed to creating green materials and affordable housing.
We currently have invented two new carbon-negative materials and continue to develop them for commercialization. Ferrock is an iron carbonate binder that can substitute for Portland cement in many applications. Polymiron is a biopolymer made from certain fatty acids derived from plant oil.
Carbon-Bound is an R&D startup and does not manufacture products for sale. We work on inventing new materials and improving those we have invented. Our goal is to develop new and sustainable materials for the construction and manufacturing industries. We invite inquiries from larger companies that are interested in joint ventures. We are also currently setting up two new separate ventures that will soon be making and selling products.
